Event Details

For gender expansive and transgender youth, ages 5-12, and at least 1 parent/guardian - Come and join us on Saturday, November 12 from 9:30-11:00am in our Community Room to meet up and play with LEGOs!

Gender expansive is defined as a range of gender expressions and identities including expanding beyond traditional gender identities or stereotypes.  Gender expansive reinforces the notion that gender is not binary but a continuum and that many people express their gender in multiple ways.

This event is led by Beth Weiss, who facilitates over 500 LEGO workshops a year, and is open to all families with children, ages 5-12, who identify as gender expansive.   Parents can join in or relax and talk in the company of other parents navigating a similar path.   Space is limited to 50 people; registration is required  and begins on October 17 at 9:00am.   All youth must be  accompanied by at least 1 parent/guardian.

Event Type(s): Children's Program
